Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is seeking an Assembler for the Avery Creek facility. The role runs Monday–Thursday 5am–3:30pm with possible overtime, performing winding, assembly, and final assembly of control equipment.

You will read drawings, determine parts, prepare wiring, and verify assemblies meet quality standards. The position requires physical movement, lifting up to 35 pounds, and the ability to move around the plant while adhering to safety rules.

Qualifications

• Able to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Must maintain safe work habits and observe all safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire control equipment from drawings and specifications.
• Prepare parts and materials, cut, strip, and attach terminals.
• Route, assemble, wire, adjust, and fit components to form complete sub-assemblies.
• Perform final assembly and check electrical/mechanical performance.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and report irregularities.
• Work overtime as required and follow engineering changes.
