Moog Medical Devices Group designs, manufactures, and distributes industry-leading enteral feeding and infusion pumps. These advanced infusion systems improve medication/patient safety, optimize application performance, reduce medical expenses and SAVE LIVES. Our Medical Devices team in Salt Lake City, Utah is looking for a skilled Assembler III to join their dynamic team. You will report directly to the Production Supervisor and enjoy an on-site, collaborative work environment.
The Assembler III has the primary responsibility to assemble products per work instructions. This is an experienced level position with expectations of a full working knowledge in the assembly, documentation, and support functions required to assemble product in a manufacturing environment.
As an Assembler III, you will add incredible value to the team by holding responsibility for….. Read work instructions, verify work instructions match assignment. Learn new work instructions as required. Collect required materials from bins Set up workstation per work instruction Assemble parts/inspect own work as instructed Assemble products per written work instructions Perform equipment maintenance and calibration as required in work instructions Proficient in soldering Fully Trained in the maintenance of the equipment used in the operations trained to. Fully Trained in the calibration of the equipment used in the operations trained to. Learn new work instructions as required by Assembler 4 Assist with other projects as requested by a member of management Assist other manufacturing staff with their duties as requested. Complete required training in a timely manner
To be considered for this Assembler III role, here’s what you’ll typically need to bring with you….. One to three months related experience and/or training Ability to read and understand Device/Work instructions Ability to understand verbal work instructions Ability to carry out tasks through detailed written or oral instructions, basic computer skills. IPC soldering certification preferred; soldering skills required To be able to lift up to 25 lbs. on a repeated basis The ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals and be able to perform these operations using units of American money and units of measurement, volume and distance Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)/color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors; depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships) Able to succeed in highly regulated compliance-oriented environment while still providing service excellence Ability to deal with problems involving a few variables in standardized situations
