Assembler II – Salt Lake City, UT

Reporting to Operations Supervisor. Onsite – Salt Lake City, UT. Work schedule: 9/80 (M‑Th 7am‑4pm, every other Fri 7am‑3pm).

Responsibilities
  • Setting up, operating, and troubleshooting manufacturing assembly line machinery/equipment
  • Operating machinery/equipment to install a piece/part/component of an in-process product, assembly, or sub‑assembly
  • Moving, packing, and sorting raw materials or finished goods
  • Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re‑manufacture faulty products
  • Maintaining accurate daily assembly production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis
  • Cross‑training on multiple production lines
Qualifications
  • HS Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Technical/Vocational training with high emphasis on mechanical systems (desired)
  • 3+ years electro/mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment (required); aerospace experience preferred
  • Attention to detail, organized work practices, and good housekeeping skills to maintain a clean work center
  • Ability to read and work from assembly drawings, worksheets, parts lists, BOM, test specifications, and other instructions (written and verbal)
  • Prior experience with circuit cards and strong understanding of ESD
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including MS Office
