Hiab in Streetsboro, Ohio, is looking for a dedicated individual to assemble hydraulic lift gates and truck mounted forklifts. The role involves following quality standards and completing assembly processes on time.

• Ability to stand, lift, squat, bend, climb onto/into a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Assemble hydraulic lift gates and/or truck mounted forklifts.
• Complete assembly process within required Takt time.
• Use overhead crane to lift heavy component parts.
• Perform quality checks and identify defective parts.

Your mission

To assemble hydraulic lift gates and/or truck mounted forklifts while following quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Completes assembly process within required Takt time
• Uses overhead crane to lift heavy component parts
• Maintains standard quality of their assembly work, i.e., the component parts have been assembled correctly per the standard work
• instruction for that assembly station, there are no missing parts, no loose nuts, screws or bolts
• Performs quality checks
• Identify defective or non-conforming parts and handle them according to the internal process
• Completes all the required documentation promptly and correctly

What We Are Looking For

• High School diploma or equivalent required
