KION North America is seeking Mechanical Assemblers in Summerville, SC. Work four 10-hour shifts Mon-Thu, with overtime on short notice on Fridays and Saturdays. Temp-to-perm after 3 months; starting pay $20.00/hr as a temp and $21.00/hr upon conversion.

Candidates should have mechanical assembly experience, knowledge of tools, and the ability to read engineering drawings. Training and overtime opportunities are available in a climate-controlled facility.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and schematics.
• Familiar with using hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and follow engineering directions.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble forklifts, pallet trucks, or masts using drawings or verbal directions.
• Operate crane to move larger parts or equipment.
• Perform functional tests and inspections before final delivery.
• Assemble sub-assemblies and wiring harnesses as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station.

Assemble forklifts, pallet trucks and/or masts in a climate controlled production area. Work 4 days a week (Mon-Thurs 6am - 4:30pm) with some Overtime on short notice on fridays and saturdays. Some mechanical assembly experience required. This position is temp to perm after 3 months. Bonus eligible position!

We are currently looking for Mechanical Assemblers to join our team. These are temp to perm positions starting at $20.00/hr. as temps and $21.00/hr. when you are converted. Increases every 6 months!

If you are mechanically inclined, love tinkering with cars and have knowledge of tools this might the position for you!!

You will be assembling forklifts, pallet trucks or masks. You may also perform mechanical and electrical modifications to trucks in order to satisfy customer requirements.

Tasks And Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assemble forklifts, pallet trucks or masts using engineering drawings, schematics or verbal direction
• Operate crane to move larger parts or equipment
• Perform functional tests and inspections to ensure product quality prior to delivery to the final inspection area
• Assemble sub-assemblies and wiring harnesses
• Maintain a clean and orderly work station at all times

Qualifications

• Automobile or truck mechanic experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
• Familiar with hand and power tools
• Basic computer skills required
• Attention to detail and quality a must
• Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime on short notice
• Must be able to stand for an entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate a crane and forklift safely
