Curtiss-Wright Round Rock is seeking an Assembler II to join our manufacturing team in Round Rock, TX. You will assemble components, read drawings, and support fabrication and testing of prototypes with various tooling and fixtures.
The role emphasizes quality control, learning new processes, and collaboration with sales, engineering and production. Onsite work with a focus on precision and reliability in a heavily regulated environment.
We are looking for an Assembler II to join our team!
As an Assembler II, you are mechanically inclined, comfortable working with tools, and able to learn new manufacturing processes and equipment. You will have prior experience with manual or power tools, machining equipment, or manufacturing processes is preferred; however, if candidates do not need to be experts in all equipment or processes. Training and development may include the use of lathes, drills, mills, threaders, saws, bead blasters, Sanders, and processes such as welding, brazing, micro-TIG welding, laser welding, and spot welding. You will apply some advanced skills to the position of specialization. You will perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled operations required to manufacture small, intricate and delicate components. You will provide direct support of sales, engineering and production for the fabrication and testing of prototypes and products. You will support customer service to evaluate and repair customer returned units.
Location: Round Rock, TX (onsite)
$22.00 to $24.00 per hour
