Job summary

Curtiss-Wright in Round Rock, TX is seeking an Assembler II to join our manufacturing team. You will assemble components, subassemblies, and configured products using drawings, fixtures and precision tools.

You will read operation sheets, set up automatic prepping and loading equipment, perform rework per ECNs, and verify quality at defined intervals to ensure correct finished assemblies. Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of experience and a high school diploma; US person required.

Assembler II

We are looking for an Assembler II to join our team! As an Assembler II, you are mechanically inclined, comfortable working with tools, and able to learn new manufacturing processes and equipment. You will have prior experience with manual or power tools, machining equipment, or manufacturing processes is preferred; however, if candidates do not need to be experts in all equipment or processes. Training and development may include the use of lathes, drills, mills, threaders, saws, bead blasters, Sanders, and processes such as welding, brazing, micro-TIG welding, laser welding, and spot welding. You will apply some advanced skills to the position of specialization. You will perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled operations required to manufacture small, intricate and delicate components. You will provide direct support of sales, engineering and production for the fabrication and testing of prototypes and products. You will support customer service to evaluate and repair customer returned units.

Salary Information

$22.00 to $24.00 per hour Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only. Criteria such as the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience, the scope of the specific position, as well as market and business considerations will be evaluated when extending an offer.

Your Challenge

Assemble components, subassemblies, and configured products using drawings, process instructions, specialized tooling, fixtures, measuring equipment, and tools.

What You Bring

Due to the nature of work performed at this site, incumbents must be a U.S. Person.

High school diploma or equivalent, technical certificate, or equivalent experience.

Typically 2-4 years of assembly, production, manufacturing, or related experience.

Ability to interpret drawings, work instructions, parts lists, and operating procedures.

Experience using tools, fixtures, and measuring equipment.

Strong documentation, teamwork, and attention to detail.
