Eaton in Youngsville, NC is seeking an Assembler I to build sub-assemblies and assemblies for UPS. The role follows SOPs, requires visual inspection of components, and uses fixtures and tools. You will ensure quality, calibrate equipment, and uphold EH&S rules.

This position offers overtime opportunities and comprehensive benefits. Pay rate is $18.50 per hour with core hours 6:00am–2:30pm, Monday–Thursday, and 6:00am–2:00pm on Friday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required from an accredited educational institution.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• Relocation assistance is not available for this position; only candidates in the immediate geographical area will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Build sub-assemblies and assemblies for UPS using SOPs.
• Visually inspect materials before and after assembly.
• Use fixtures, gauges, hand tools and power tools to assemble, adjust, or repair product.
• Inspect completed assemblies to meet Raleigh Plant Quality standards and adjust as needed.
• Adhere to environmental, health and safety rules and regulations; participate in 5S housekeeping.
• Provide process and safety improvement ideas.
• Ensure machines/tools are properly calibrated.
