Job summary

Eaton's ES GEIS BLD division in Reno, NV is seeking an Assembler I (1st Shift). The hourly rate is $20.47 per hour, with core hours 6AM - 2:30PM. This role involves bench assembly, basic fastening tasks, and order picking in a safety-conscious environment.

You will work under supervision, support Lean initiatives, and help maintain clean, organized work areas while contributing to continuous improvement efforts across the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
• Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Reno, NV will be considered.
• Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Responsibilities

• Perform simple repetitive bench assembly of parts and components.
• May use bolts, screws, clips, and other fastening devices.
• Work under close supervision and may work from models, samples, or simple diagrams.
• Pick, pack and pull orders in an efficient and accurate manner.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems as they arise.
• Keeps work areas clean and safe.
• Supports all facility Continuous Improvement and LEAN initiatives including, but not limited to: Maintain 5-S (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain) throughout shop floor and office areas.
• Track and sustain all visual management tools such as, but not limited to: layered audits, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) boards, and any additional LEAN tools that are deemed necessary to provide direction, goals and status to the shop floor.
• Encourage, support, and actively participate in Kaizen improvements and events throughout the facility, department, and area of responsibility.
