Job summary

Delaware Elevator Inc in Salisbury, MD is seeking an Assembler to join our production team. You will follow detailed assembly instructions to build pump and motor systems, prep parts, and document lot codes as work progresses.

This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork. Candidates should read shop sheets, handle up to 50 lbs, operate power and hand tools, and maintain organized inventories while meeting daily production goals.

Qualifications

  • We’re looking for candidates who can read and follow shop sheets and assembly instructions.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience or ability to manage and maintain inventory levels.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills.
  • Experience using power tools and hand tools safely.
  • Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities

As an Assembler, you will assist the Manager and team with:



  • Assembling products using detailed instructions while maintaining high-quality standards

  • Prepping parts, building sub-assemblies, and assembling pump/motor systems

  • Fastening pumps, motors, valves, and components using bolts, screws, clips, rivets, and other hardware

  • Accurately recording lot codes of components used in assemblies

  • Tracking inventory and documenting completed assemblies

  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace

  • Supporting additional tasks as assigned
