Job Summary
Responsible for using components and parts to produce machines, goods, products, and other objects. Read and interpret blueprints, position parts, and examine connections for correct fit.
Primary Responsibilities
- Study and interpret assembly instructions.
- Listen and comprehend instructions and directions.
- Verify all parts are present before performing work.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and parts lists.
- Positions parts and subassemblies.
- Interpret measurements.
- Verify specifications.
- Assemble components.
- Ensure all parts are fitted and screwed in properly.
- Alter dimensions to fit specifications.
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive team attitude.
- Keep the work area clean.
- Record inventory change sheets as required.
- Work safely without presenting a direct threat to self or others.
- Accurately record time on jobs and projects.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
- Compliance with all safety rules and guidelines.
- Consistently adhere to assigned work schedule, ensuring punctuality and reliability.
Assembler skills
- 2+ years’ experience in general assembly work or specialized training preferred.
- Experience with power and hand tools is needed.
Basic Math And Communication Skills Required.
- Read and interpret blueprints required.
- Experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics is a plus.
