Job summary

Goldshield is seeking a Sander at our Decatur, Indiana facility. The role involves sanding gelcoat surfaces, preparing parts for primer and paint, and supporting production with quality-focused work habits.

We offer day-one medical, dental, and vision benefits along with a 401(k) plan with company match. Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with overtime as needed, and located at 2004 Patterson Street, Decatur, Indiana.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1-year experience in sanding, fiberglass, paint prep, finishing, manufacturing, or production.
• Preferred high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to complete required Goldshield training certification.
• Ability to maintain quality standards while preparing fiberglass surfaces.
• Ability to communicate professionally and work well with other employees.
• Successful completion of the drug and background screening.

A day in the life of a Sander at Goldshield:

• Sanding gelcoat surfaces to prepare parts for primer and paint application.
• Performing sanding duties while meeting quality and quantity standards.
• Maintaining tools, equipment, materials, and supplies with minimal scrap.
