Job summary

Broan-NuTone is seeking an Assembler I in Wisconsin to perform a range of operations to assemble, test, inspect and pack exhaust ventilation parts. You will work under the Shift Supervisor and follow assembly drawings and process sheets.

You will use hand and air powered tools, measuring instruments and gauges to ensure quality, safety and efficiency, with overtime as needed and a focus on meeting daily production targets.

Qualifications

• Able to read assembly drawings and process sheets to perform assembly tasks.
• Proficient with hand and air powered tools and measurement gauges.
• Commitment to safe, clean and efficient work practices required.

Responsibilities

• Fit, align, fasten, and package sheet metal parts, motors and electronics into sub-assemblies and complete units.
• Visually inspect for fit and function; disassemble/rework as needed.
• Test units for electrical continuity and functionality.
• Package units into corrugated containers with labels and shipping filler.
• Follow assembly drawings and standard work to ensure consistent quality and safety.

Join us and help improve lives with better indoor air quality.Business Job Title: Assembler lJob Summary:Under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor, the Assembler I is responsible for performing a variety of operations to assemble, test, inspect and pack a diversified number exhaust ventilation, kitchen ventilation or service parts.Job Responsibilities:Fit, align, fasten, and package sheet metal parts, motors, electronics, molded parts into sub-assemblies and complete units. Visually inspect for fit and function. Non-conformities may require disassembly and rework.Test units for electrical continuity and functionality.Package units into corrugated containers with shipping filler and identify with all applicable labels.Work from assembly drawings, process sheets and/or standard work to perform assembly operations in a consistent, safe, and efficient manner.Use required hand and air powered tools, measuring instruments and gauges.Maintain a clean & safe working environment, in line with company policies and procedures.Participate in daily workplace organization & meetings, stretching, SQDC discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.Perform other duties as assigned.Job Requirements:Requires ability to work from assembly drawings, process sheets and standard work and may include ability to learn how to operate and make routine adjustments to various machines.Requires the ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime.Physical Requirements:Must be able to safely lift up to 35 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.At Broan NuTone, we take pride in offering exceptional benefit packages and a highly competitive pay structure to our employees.
