Job summary

Tecomet Inc. is seeking an Assembler I in Manchester, NH to perform final assembly of cases and trays according to work instructions, within Tecomet's continuous improvement and customer-focused culture.

Responsibilities include assembling components with hand tools, cleaning products, installing silicone and handles, and operating a pin printer machine. You will report labor and maintain traveler accuracy, stack parts, and package finished goods for shipping.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiar with manufacturing operations and processes.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions and work as part of a team.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
• Basic math skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble product from small and large components using hand tools, including a screw gun.
• Clean product during the process, install silicone and handles, and set up/run a pin printer machine.
• Report labor in an accurate and timely fashion and ensure traveler is filled out accurately.
• Stack parts on racks or tables, maintaining line clearance to prevent mix-ups.
• Pack product for shipping with appropriate documentation, bubble wrap and boxing.
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned by supervisor.

Position Summary

The Assembler I will perform final assembly of cases & trays following work instructions to ensure product meets all customer expectations. The role requires the above to be accomplished within Tecomet's principles of continuous improvement, customer driven innovation and a win first culture, while meeting company financial and other performance metrics.

• Standing at a work bench, assemble product from small and large components using small hand tools, including a screw gun.
• Assembly tasks include cleaning product throughout the process, installing silicone and handles and set up and run a pin printer machine.
• Report labor in an accurate and timely fashion and ensure traveler is filled out accurately.
• Stack parts on racks or appropriate table, ensuring line clearance to not mix product.
• Packaging of product to send to shipping include bagging, applying appropriate documentation, bubble wrap and boxing.
• Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by supervisor.

Qualification Requirements

Credentials/Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Familiar with manufacturing operations
• Team player and flexible to move from one task to another
• Basic math skills
• Able to follow written & verbal instruction
• Ability to work independently and exercise judgment
