Job summary

Philips is seeking an Assembler I to join our manufacturing team in Plymouth, Minnesota. You will perform a variety of assembly operations, follow SOPs, and participate in in-process quality checks to ensure GMP-compliant production of medical devices.

No prior experience required; training will be provided. You will work with quality control and other departments to meet daily production goals in a fast-paced, onsite environment.

Job Description

You will perform a variety of repetitive and non-repetitive assembly operations to produce high-quality medical devices, following established work instructions, diagrams, and assembly drawings. Your role: Be part of a collaborative production team and work closely with quality control and other departments to meet daily production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Complete in-process quality checks to ensure each product meets quality, safety, and regulatory standards. Operate in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintain a clean and organized work area, and follow equipment shutdown and lockout requirements. Accurately measure, record, and document production data, including Lot History Records, and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and the SPNC Quality System while keeping all required training current.

You are the right fit if:

No prior experience required, experience in Medical Devices Manufacturing in a highly regulated environment preferred.

Your skills include reliability, detail orientation, effective communication and good interpersonal skills.

You have a HS diploma or equivalent. You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Production/Assembler position.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. This is an onsite role.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in Plymouth, Minnesota is $18.00 - $27.00 per hour. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. Details about our benefits can be found here. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

  • In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
Additional Information

US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future. Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Plymouth, Minnesota. This requisition is expected to stay active for 45 days but may close earlier if a successful candidate is selected or business necessity dictates.
