Job Title Manufacturing Technician (Bedford, MA) Job Description 588857 Manufacturing Technician (Bedford, MA) Play a critical role in supporting catheter manufacturing operations by serving as a flexible, hands‑on production expert who ensures quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement across a fast-paced environment.

Your role:

Support daily manufacturing operations across catheter production by setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment, while executing both standard and complex build activities in alignment with established process parameters and quality standards. Serve as a flexible resource and subject matter expert (SME), supporting critical production needs, troubleshooting equipment issues, and leading investigations to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity. Perform thorough quality checks and verify compliance of components, documentation, and finished products, ensuring adherence to strict regulatory, safety, and quality requirements. Drive continuous improvement by conducting root cause investigations, updating work instructions and documentation, and recommending process enhancements that improve productivity, quality, and workflow efficiency. Work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining clear communication with cross‑functional teams, including Manufacturing leadership, to report deviations, support pilot runs, and ensure successful production outcomes.

You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in medical devices or catheter-based production. Your skills include troubleshooting equipment, root cause analysis, interpreting technical drawings/schematics, and working with hand tools, along with strong documentation and digital proficiency. You have a High School Diploma, vocational training, or equivalent, with hands‑on experience in building, assembly, and production processes. You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position. You’re a self‑sufficient, adaptable professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, communicates clearly, and can flex across both critical production demands and general manufacturing needs.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office‑based teams, this means working in‑person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full‑time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. This is an onsite role.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position in Bedford, MA is $29.00 to $45.00 per hour The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job‑related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long‑term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.
