Job summary

Solid State Devices, Inc. is hiring an Assembler to join our Electronics Assembly team in the semiconductor sector. You will perform mechanical inspections, component cleaning, and final assembly per drawings and specs using microscopes and hand tools.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, safe work practices, and adherence to procedures. Prior related experience is a plus, and a high school diploma is required; overtime may be available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills required.
• Preferred: 6+ months related experience.
• Soldering experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical inspection and cleaning of components to ensure they are free of debris, properly aligned, and securely soldered.
• Ensure subassemblies are properly handled.
• Use of manufacturing hand tools (soldering iron, pliers, drills, etc.).
• Proficient in microscope operation.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Follow standardized procedures and verbal/written instructions.
• Maintain an organized and safe work environment.
