Job summary

Solid State Devices, Inc. is seeking motivated Assembler Techs for our Wafer Fab in California. The role involves hands-on work in a cleanroom manufacturing environment, performing diode passivation, precap activities, inspection, and bonding tasks under close supervision.

You will receive thorough on-the-job training and opportunities to grow within a high-tech facility. The position runs Monday–Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm, with a starting hourly wage of $18.50 and bi-weekly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication).

Responsibilities

• Diode Passivation - apply protective coatings to semiconductor devices.
• Diode Precap Activities - pre-sealing inspection and preparation of diodes.
• Diode Visual Mechanical Inspection - quality checks for conformance.
• Pinbond / Leadbond - bond diode components to pins/leads.
• Read and interpret figure drawings & assembly instructions.
