Job Overview

The Lennox factory in Marshalltown, IA is hiring Assemblers for first and second shifts. Positions are hourly non‑exempt and involve routine, repetitive assembly tasks. Candidates must be able to lift at least 20 pounds, read and understand English, and work overtime if required. All work is performed under direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install parts by hand, powered tools, or specialized equipment.
• Package materials, parts, and finished products.
• Measure and cut insulation.
• Apply glue and wraps, and secure insulation.

Qualifications

• High‑school diploma or equivalent education and experience.
• Basic shop skills and equipment operation knowledge.
• Ability to read, understand, and apply customer specifications.
• Capability to safely use a variety of tools and identify unit components.
• Knowledge of labeling per instructions.
• Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds and understand English.

Compensation and Benefits

This hourly, non‑exempt role starts at $20.13 per hour. Salary may vary by geography, tenure, performance, skills, education, or experience. Employees may earn overtime when working more than 40 hours per week, in accordance with state law. Overtime pay and a yearly bonus are not available for this role.

Benefits include tuition reimbursement; medical, dental, and vision insurance; prescription drug coverage; 401(k) retirement plan; short‑term disability insurance; 8 weeks of paid birthing leave; 2 weeks of paid bonding leave; and life and long‑term disability insurance.
