Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking an Assembler (C) to join the HVAC Cooling division, building components for air handling equipment. You will interpret blueprints and engineering drawings, assemble components, and work across stations to meet safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to procedures, and efficient workflow. You’ll support standard assembly tasks, operate tools safely, and learn to handle cranes and material handling equipment while maintaining a clean,

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn assembly processes.
• Ability to follow work instructions and blueprints accurately.
• Ability to perform basic assembly, fastening, sealing, and fit-up activities.
• Safely use hand/pneumatic tools and measuring devices.
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and related equipment safely.
• Develop blueprint reading and assembly interpretation skills.
• Work well in a team and adapt to production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, adjust, and install prefabricated parts to manufacture air handling systems.
• Perform adjustments and fine-tuning for proper assembly.
• Interpret blueprints, BOMs, and drawings accurately.
• Assemble and install system components and sections.
• Build complete air handling units from start to finish using specs.
• Contribute to safety, quality, and schedule performance.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and participate in cross-training.
