Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking an assembler for Cincinnati Fan and Strobic Air Technologies products. You will build industrial fans and air-handling equipment using drawings and instructions, inspect quality, and ensure safety and production standards are met.

You will work with hand and power tools, support staging and sequencing of parts, and maintain 5S practices in a manufacturing environment. Shift is 2nd with specific hours.

Qualifications

• One year of manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components using hand or power tools and fixtures.
• Inspect parts and assemblies for defects and verify conformance to drawings.
• Read engineering drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions.
• Coordinate staging and sequencing of parts and production items.
• Load/unload parts using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or cranes.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas per 5S standards.
• Operate measuring instruments to verify tolerances.
• Support 2nd shift operations (2:30 pm–1:00 am).
