Responsibilities
Performs simple production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operations.
Technical Skills
- Basic computer systems and programs proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Reading and comprehension of detailed work instructions in English.
- Use of hand tools and diagnostic equipment (screwdrivers, ratchets, power screwdriver, multi meters, continuity testers).
- Installation of aircraft system components (tubing, valves, regulators, actuators, compressors, ducts).
Qualifications
- Work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd) as required by business.
- Complete training and knowledge assessments, including mathematical calculations, in English.
- Maintain Confined Space and Fall Protection certifications, if required.
- Meet physical demands: flexion/extension, handling, kneeling, bending, overhead reach, rotation, standing, twisting, walking, climbing, crawling, crouching. Lift/carry up to 35 pounds.
- Work with high‑hazard chemicals using proper protective equipment.
- Less than 6 months of experience using software applications (Internet, email, Microsoft Office, specialized apps), following detailed work instructions and interpreting blueprints/drawings in English.
- Less than 6 months of experience in a manufacturing, technical, or mechanical field (or equivalent military experience) using hand, power, or pneumatic tools.
- 1+ year of experience following detailed work instructions, blueprints, drawings, or specifications.
- Successful completion and clearance of all screening requirements is a contingency for this assignment.
- Successful completion of 6‑10 weeks of training; three failed assessments result in release.
Pay Rate
Hourly: $19–$22 USD.
