Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Responsibilities

Performs routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operations.

Technical/Software Skills

• Ability to work a variable shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).


• Performs functional testing of aircraft electrical systems and components and performs aircraft systems troubleshooting and fault repair.


• Assesses and documents test or analysis data to show compliance.


• Identifies roadblocks and production constraints and escalates issues which cannot be resolved by the team using open and clear communication.


• Supports teammates to improve overall team performance by providing cross training and mentoring.


• Adheres to high standards of safety and compliance to regulation.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing.


• 1+ years of experience in electrical assembly and/or electronic materials.


• 1+ years of experience in avionics systems troubleshooting, wire bundle installations, and aircraft electrical systems troubleshooting.


• 1+ years of experience using software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite and/or other specialized computer applications.


• 1+ years of experience utilizing and following detailed work instructions, reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications, in English.

Physical Demands

• Ability to work a variable shift (1st, 2nd or 3rd).


• Ability to meet physical demands of the role such as flexion/extension (head bent down, head bent back), handling, kneeling, bending at the waist, reaching (overhead), rotation of head/neck, standing, twisting at the waist and walking, climbing/balancing (stairs, ladders, poles, scaffolding, inclined surfaces), crawling, crouching (squatting).

Additional Information

8-10 Weeks of Training.

Please note, these positions are variable shifts; contractors must be able to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift. Shift dependent on business need.

Boeing South Carolina Site Requisition – Airport and North Campus SOW Business need.

Building location dependent on business need.

Successful completion and clearance of all screening requirements is a contingency for this assignment.

Dress Code: Boeing South Carolina – Teamwear – Provided at the teamwear store.

Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role.

Pay Rate Range

• Min Pay Rate: $20
