Job summary

Modine is seeking an Assembler Technician to assemble and join copper and other metal components on the production line, using brazing techniques to ensure efficient cooling systems. The role requires reading prints and wiring diagrams, using hand and power tools, and adhering to safety and quality standards. Reports to the Production Supervisor.

Hours: 3rd Shift: 10PM-6AM. Pay starts at $24.23/hour, increasing to $26.23 after 9 months, with a $1.50/hour shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Production experience in a make-to-order assembly role preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret prints, wiring diagrams, assembly checks and CAD models to meet production specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assemble units using manual and powered hand tools per customer specifications.
• Perform brazing for refrigeration and water circuits per print requirements.
• Perform high voltage, 3-phase wiring of electrical system.
• Ability to measure, cut, fit, and insulate water piping assembly.
• Read blueprints, work instructions, and wiring diagrams to build or modify units.
• Ensure completion of Quality and Production checklists/processes.
• Use computer to access and enter information including Windows-based and CAD platforms; keep work area neat and orderly.
• Operate overhead hoists, manual hand trucks, and powered industrial trucks when required.

Position Description

An Assembler Technician is responsible for utilizing prints, work instructions and wiring diagrams in order to assemble product on the production line. This position will be responsible for assembling and joining copper and other metal components using brazing techniques to ensure the integrity and efficiency of our cooling systems.This may include the use of power tools, hand tools, overheadhoistsand fixtures to complete assembly and transport material to and from thework station. Chiller Assembly Techniciansare responsible foradhering to all safety and quality requirements while meeting production schedule demands. The Chiller Assembly Technician reports to the Production Supervisor.

Hours: 3rd Shift: 10PM-6AM

Pay: Starting Rate is $24.23/hour after 9 months the pay rate will increase to $26.23

Shift Differential : 3rd Shift is &1.50/hour

Key Responsibilities

Using various manual and powered hand tools to assemble units according to customer specifications.

Perform brazing for refrigeration and watercircuitper print requirements.

Required Education & Qualifications
