Job summary

Quanex is seeking an Assembler to join our team in Chehalis, WA. You will cut and assemble door or window screen frames to changing specifications, using measuring devices, and you will work a 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM shift.

Responsibilities

• Follows safety procedures and notifies supervisor of safety issues.
• Visually inspects for defects or errors throughout process.
• Verifies size, color, customer, configuration according to labeling system.
• Ensures standard work adherence.
• Applies labels to frames upon completion.
• Sequences into rack for next step (screen rolling).
• Cross-trains to ensure proficiency in neighboring positions.
• _attends work on time and for scheduled hours each day_.

The Assembler is responsible for working cooperatively with team members to cut and assemble door or window screen frames to changing specifications, using a measuring device. This position is scheduled for 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM.

What Success Looks Like?
