Job summary

Quanex is seeking an Assembler in Chehalis, WA to cooperate with team members in cutting and assembling door or window screen frames to changing specifications. You will use measuring devices, verify sizes, colors, and configurations, and apply labels for each completed frame.

The role operates 5:30 AM to 2:00 PM with potential overtime and a path for growth within a dynamic manufacturing environment. We offer competitive pay, bonus potential, and a comprehensive benefits package including 401K

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Must follow written and verbal directions.
• At least 6 months of production/assembly experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures and notify supervisor of any safety issues.
• Visually inspect for defects or errors throughout process.
• Verify size, color, and configuration according to labeling system.
• Apply labels to frame upon completion and rack for next step.
• Cross-training to ensure proficiency in neighboring positions.
• Be punctual and adhere to scheduled hours.

Quanex is looking for an Assembler to join our team located in Chehalis, WA. The Assembler is responsible for working cooperatively with team members to cut and assemble door or window screen frames to changing specifications, using a measuring device. This position is scheduled for 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM.

What Success Looks Like?

Your Credentials

• At least 6 months of production, assembly or related work experience preferred
• Ability to follow both written and verbal directions.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds

Salary Range: $18.00 - $23.40 per hour
