Job summary

Allient Inc. in Tulsa, OK, is seeking Assemblers to join our team. The role involves manufacturing and assembling small motor components and motion control products, with 2nd shift opportunities available.

You will read blueprints, follow routing sheets, and measure parts to engineering specs in a loud, high-velocity environment. The position requires basic math, the use of calipers/micrometers, and strong manual dexterity.

Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, follow routers, perform simple math, and use basic measuring tools.
  • Good manual dexterity to manipulate small objects.
  • Ability to read blueprints, calipers, and micrometers; soldering/lead wiring/forming experience is a plus.

Allient Inc. is in growth mode and currently seeking Assemblers to join our team in Tulsa, OK! The Assembler will perform all operations required for the manufacture and assembly of small motor components and motion control products and systems. Allient Inc. currently has 2nd shift opportunities available!

Responsibilities
  • Inspect components and assemblies using visual checks and precision inspection tools to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, job orders, and work instructions to accurately build parts to customer specifications.
  • Use calipers and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and maintain production accuracy.
  • Assemble and inspect parts according to customer orders and company quality requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routers, use simple math, and use basic hand-held measuring tools.
  • Good manual dexterity to manipulate small objects.
  • Ability to read blueprints, calipers, and micrometers. Soldering, lead wiring, and forming experience is a plus.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time with periodic sitting, bending, stooping, and lifting 10 to 30 pounds.
  • Consistent use of both hands using repetitive motion.
  • Occasionally, the employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to vibration. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
