Job summary

Allient Inc. in Tulsa, OK is seeking assemblers to join our production team. The role involves manufacture and assembly of small motor components and motion control products, with both 1st and 2nd shift available.

You will work with supervisors to align with the production schedule, verify materials, read prints and OMS, and maintain safety and quality standards on the line. Experience with calipers or micrometers is a plus.

Qualifications

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Read and interpret drawings, follow routers, use basic math, and use measuring tools.
  • Soldering, lead wiring, and forming experience is a plus.
  • Good manual dexterity to manipulate small objects.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate assignments with the production schedule and communicate goals to the work cell.
  • Ensure proper materials are in place to meet production assignments.
  • Communicate with other departments regarding production issues and status.
  • Load and unload machines for fastening, light metal-cutting on the assembly line.
  • Oversee daily operations and maintain a safe, clean working environment.
  • Inspect components and assemblies visually and with inspection tools.
  • Use prints, job orders, OMS, and work instructions to ensure proper materials.
  • Inventory materials in the work area and prepare required documentation.

Allient Inc. is in growth mode and currently seeking Assemblers to join our team in Tulsa, OK! We have both 1st and 2nd shift available!

The Assembler will perform all operations required for the manufacture and assembly of small motor components and motion control products and systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Work with Supervisor and Managers to coordinate assignments with the production schedule.
  • Communication to work cell of production goals and assignments.
  • Ensure proper materials are in place to meet production assignments.
  • Communicate to other departments regarding production issues and report status.
  • Loads and unload previously setup machines, to perform fastening, force fitting, or light metal-cutting operation on assembly line.
  • Oversee daily operations and maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Inspects components and assemblies both visually and using inspection tools as required.
  • Uses prints, job orders, operations methods sheets (OMS), work instructions and other specifications to ensure that proper and within specification materials and tools are utilized.
  • Inventories (cycle counts) materials in work area.
  • Prepares required documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Must be able to read and interpret drawings, follow routers, use simple math, and use basic hand-held measuring tools.
  • Good manual dexterity to manipulate small objects.
  • Ability to read blueprints, calipers, and micrometers. Soldering, lead wiring, and forming experience is a plus.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time with periodic sitting, bending, stooping, and lifting 10 to 30 pounds.
  • Consistent use of both hands using repetitive motion.
  • Occasionally, the employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to vibration. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
