Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a vinyl window assembler for 2nd shift in Streetsboro, OH. Base pay is $21.00 per hour with overtime as needed on Friday. You will assemble vinyl windows, read orders, and ensure quality in a fast-paced production setting.

Responsibilities include mounting frames, installing glass, inspecting for defects, and preparing products for shipment while maintaining safety and cleanliness on the line.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to handle small parts with precision and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and blueprints.
• Experience in manufacturing or assembly environments is preferred.

Base Pay Rate $21.00 per hour

2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 5:00 PM-3:30 AM (Friday overtime as needed)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a vinyl window assembler you will meticulously assemble the components of vinyl windows using various tools and machinery, ensuring all parts are properly fitted together according to specifications, while adhering to quality standards and safety protocols in a production line setting.

Responsibilities:

• Read work orders
• Attach frame sections, install glass panes, and secure hardware using hand and power tools such as screw guns
• Inspect completed windows for defects like gaps, misalignment, and damage, ensuring they meet quality standards
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Work within established timelines to meet daily production goals
• Crosstrain across different production lines
• Prepare finished products for shipment
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area

Qualifications

• Manual dexterity:Ability to handle small parts with precision and perform repetitive tasks
