Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions is seeking an Assembler in Estherville, IA to assemble fixture whips and wire components for a specialty electrical products manufacturer. The role involves reading labels, following work instructions, and using tools and machines in a clean production environment.

Weekly pay and temp/contract opportunities offer stability for hands-on workers. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for most of an 8-hour shift, and pass pre-employment screenings

Qualifications

• Ability to operate basic hand-power tools and pneumatic screwdrivers.
• Ability to read fixture whip labels and apply color codes.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs with or without accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, bundle, and package fixture whips following work instructions and quality standards.
• Read fixture whip labels and apply labels accurately to conduit.
• Insert wires into conduit based on specified color codes.
• Operate various assembly machines and equipment as assigned.
