Job summary

Phillips Staffing in Piedmont, SC is seeking a production/maintenance associate to operate, maintain and troubleshoot mechanical equipment to keep continuous production. You will assemble ventilation blowers, air pumps, filtration panels and related parts from sub-assemblies.

You will test products for performance against specifications, package and label finished goods, and coordinate with adjacent production lines to sustain workflow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic math skills using whole numbers.
• Good English reading, writing and speaking.
• Ability to use small hand tools, pneumatic and electrical tools, calibration devices and air gauges.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in extreme weather.
• Able to lift up to 45 lbs.

• Assemble ventilation blowers, ambient air pumps, air filtration panels, and other products from parts and sub-assemblies.
• Test assembled products for performance and compliance with product specifications.
• Package and label finished product for final shipment.
• Liaise with previous and next lines of production for continuous workflow.
• Prioritize responsibilities to meet changing environment needs.
• Ensure all machine equipment and parts are calibrated on schedule.

• Test assembled products for performance and compliance with product specifications
• Package and label finished product for final shipment
• Liaising with previous and next lines of production for continuous work flow
• Ability to continuously prioritize responsibilities to meet the needs of a changing environment
• Ensure all machine equipment and parts are calibrated on schedule

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Good communication skills with reading, writing, and speaking English clearly
• Ability to work with small hand tools, pneumatic and electrical hand tools, calibration devices and air gauges
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in extreme weather conditions
