Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an Assembler 1 in Dartmouth, MA for 1st shift (Mon-Thu, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM). The role involves assembling components per blueprints, quality checking, and maintaining parts inventory using hand and power tools.

You may train new associates and ensure 5S standards are followed. Requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds, working in a fast-paced environment, and experience with staple guns or drills is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with staple guns, drills, etc preferred.
• Must be able to bend, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fabricate product using company-supplied hand and power tools.
• Identify and segregate Non-Conforming Product.
• Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.

Base pay starts at S17.75

Shift: 1st Shift,Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Assembler 1 is responsible for putting together component parts or pieces adhering to a specified set of blueprints or schematics. They verify the correct quantities of components parts and quality checking completed items, manage parts inventory, and use hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products and structures.

• Ability to perform repetitive work while paying attention to detail
• Identify and segregate Non-Conforming Product
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers
• Ability to train other/new associates
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards
