Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an Assembler 1 in North Dartmouth, MA for 2nd shift (Mon-Thu 3:30 pm - 2:00 am). Base pay starts at $17.75 per hour with a $1.00 per hour shift differential. The role requires assembling components with hand/power tools, verifying quantities, and maintaining 5S standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with staple guns, drills preferred.
• Must be able to bend, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fabricate product using company-supplied hand and power tools.
• Identify and segregate Non-Conforming Product.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.
• Ability to train other/new associates.
• Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards.
• The Assembler 1 verifies quantities and quality checks completed items.

Base Pay starts at $17.75 per hour plus $1.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift

Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday-Thursday,3:30 pm - 2:00 am

Duties and Responsibilities

The Assembler 1 is responsible for putting together component parts or pieces adhering to a specified set of blueprints or schematics. They verify the correct quantities of components parts and quality checking completed items, manage parts inventory, and use hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products and structures.

• Ability to perform repetitive work while paying attention to detail
• Identify and segregate Non-Conforming Product
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers
• Ability to train other/new associates
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards
