Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands seeks an Assembler 1 for 2nd shift in Massachusetts. You will assemble components per blueprints, verify parts quantities and quality, and manage inventory with hand and power tools to produce sturdy products.

Requires ability to lift 50 lbs, work 3:30 PM–2:00 AM, and thrive in a fast-paced team setting. Full-time with benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must be able to bend and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components following blueprints and schematics.

JOB DETAILS

Base Pay starts at $17.75 per hour plus $1.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd shift

Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday-Thursday,3:30 PM - 2:00 AM

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Assembler 1 is responsible for putting together component parts or pieces adhering to a specified set of blueprints or schematics. They verify the correct quantities of components parts and quality checking completed items, manage parts inventory, and use hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products and structures.

• Ability to perform repetitive work while paying attention to detail
• Identify and segregate Non-Conforming Product
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers
• Ability to train other/new associates
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards
• Assemble and fabricate product using company-supplied hand and power tools
