Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring an Assembler 1 for the 2nd shift in North Dartmouth, MA. Base pay starts at $17.75 per hour plus $1.00 per hour shift differential for the 2nd shift, with a schedule of Monday–Thursday, 3:30 PM–2:00 AM.

You will assemble component parts per blueprints, verify quantities, perform quality checks, and use hand and power tools. You must lift up to 50 pounds, train teammates, and maintain 5S housekeeping throughout the department.

Qualifications

• Must be able to bend and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis.
• Ability to train other/new associates.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Assembler 1 is responsible for putting together component parts or pieces adhering to a specified set of blueprints or schematics. They verify the correct quantities of components parts and quality checking completed items, manage parts inventory, and use hand tools and mechanical equipment to produce structurally sound products and structures.

• Ability to perform repetitive work while paying attention to detail
• Identify and segregate Non-Conforming Product
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers
• Ability to train other/new associates
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards
• Assemble and fabricate product using company-supplied hand and power tools

Qualifications

• Experience with Staple guns, drills, etc preferred
• Must be able to bend, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
