Job summary

Philips assembly team in Ontario, California is seeking an Assembler 1 to set up and operate a production line, ensuring product quality and safety. No prior experience required, with opportunities to work in a highly regulated environment.

You will document daily activities, perform basic computer-based tasks, and communicate any issues to supervisors while maintaining a safe workspace. This is an onsite role with full-time hours and competitive pay.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the assembly machine following instructions
• Perform quality checks and discard or remanufacture defective units as needed
• Monitor production output and document results and anomalies
• Record daily production activities using basic computer tools and work instructions
• Follow safety, security, and environmental guidelines at all times
• Collaborate with supervisors and coworkers to identify and implement process improvements

Job TitleAssembler 1Job DescriptionThe Assembler 1 is responsible for setting up and operating a machine to assemble and process individual products, working under closed supervision.Your role:• Implements quality checks based on provided instructions and specifications defined by the company, to ensure product integrity and adherence to standards.• Operates a set of machines and production equipment, ensuring safety and following prescribed procedures and guidelines.• Monitors output quality to identify and address any faulty products, including discarding or remanufacturing as necessary.• Documents and records of daily production activities to facilitate performance analysis and reporting.• Utilizes basic computer skills to navigate applications, access digital work instructions, and document test and work records.• Demonstrates understanding and adherence to established personal safety, security, and environmental practices to maintain a secure work environment.• Fosters positive working relationships with supervisors and colleagues, seeking feedback and adapting working methods for continuous improvement.• Follows standard procedures and guidelines, promptly recognizing and communicating any issues or abnormalities to appropriate personnel while prioritizing workplace health and safety.You are the right fit if:No prior experience required, experience Manufacturing in a highly regulated environment preferred.Your skills include reliability, detail orientation, effective communication and good interpersonal skills.You have a HS diploma or equivalent.You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Production/Assembler position.How we work togetherWe believe that we are better together than apart.
