Staffmark in Vonore, TN is seeking an Assembler to join a 1st shift team. The role involves assembling components with hand tools, reading prints, and following work instructions to meet specifications.

Qualifications

  • 3+ months of manufacturing or assembly experience.
  • Ability to read basic prints, instructions, and process sheets.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing systems (AS400 experience a plus).
  • Strong attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do

As a Assembler you will assemble products, components, or equipment using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and assembly instructions. You will inspect completed assemblies, verify measurements, identify quality concerns, maintain organized work areas, and support production goals while following established manufacturing procedures and workplace safety standards.

A Assembler supports production by assembling mechanical, electrical, or manufactured components into completed products. This role combines technical ability with craftsmanship, organization, and attention to detail.

The Assembler works with assembly drawings, production equipment, and quality standards while maintaining accurate, consistent work throughout the manufacturing process. Strong mechanical aptitude supports long-term success.
