Monroechamber is seeking an Assembler for the Beaver Dam, WI facility. The role operates on the 1st shift (6:00am – 2:00pm) with mandatory overtime as needed to support production goals.

Position Overview

Assembler – $18.00/hour, 1st shift (6:00am – 2:00pm) with mandatory overtime as needed. This role is for individuals seeking a start or experience in manufacturing, based in Beaver Dam.

Responsibilities

• Prepares work by studying assembly instructions, blueprints, and parts lists; gathers parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Positions parts and subassemblies using templates or reading measurements.
• Assembles components, examining connections for correct fit; fastens parts and subassemblies.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed components.
• Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions; notifies supervisor for additional resources.
• Documents actions on production and quality forms.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Ensures compliance with corporate and plant safety standards.
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment per procedures, rules, and regulations.

Qualifications

• Occasional lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Frequent stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend up to 10 hours a day.
• Stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms up to 10 hours a day.
• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Ability to follow instructions and work at a consistent pace.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as a team.
