Job summary

Aerotek in Edgerton, WI is seeking a 1st Shift Assembler to build and assemble large product pieces using hand and power tools. You will follow blueprints and written instructions to ensure quality while starting with rebuilding units flagged for issues and progressing to full assembly.

This on-site, contract-to-hire role offers overtime opportunities and weekly pay, with a pay range of $18.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Job Title: 1st Shift Assembler

Job Description

1st Shift Assembler builds and assembles large product using hand and power tools. This role works from detailed blueprints and written instructions to ensure product meets strict quality standards, starting with rebuilding units that have been flagged for quality issues and progressing into full assembly work.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble using hand and power tools in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.

• Read, interpret, and follow blueprints and written instructions to complete assembly without quality errors.

• Perform general labor and assembly tasks, including measuring, fitting, fastening, and securing parts and components.

Essential Skills

• Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment.

• Proven ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively, supported by specific examples of prior experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale assembly work.

• Experience in construction or similar hands-on trades.

• Prior experience working from detailed written instructions and/or technical blueprints.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
