Job Description

Join a specialized manufacturing team that assembles pipe joining systems, fittings, and valves used in high-profile projects across multiple industries. You will read blueprints, assemble components to precise specifications, and work with a variety of tools and equipment in a clean, safety-focused production environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and job specifications to assemble pipe, connectors, fittings, valves, and related components accurately.
• Assemble manufactured equipment, including valves and valve assemblies, by following detailed instructions and engineering drawings.
• Cut and groove pipe according to specifications, ensuring proper fit and function for each assembly.
• Form and press gaskets and other sealing components as required for each job.
• Use hand tools and power tools to perform mechanical assembly tasks safely and efficiently.
• Operate machines and equipment related to pipe grooving, cutting, and assembly, following standard operating procedures.
• Log production data into a computer system to update job progress and maintain accurate records.
• Inspect assembled components for quality, fit, and function, and make adjustments as needed to meet specifications.
• Support general labor and mechanical tasks within the shop, including assisting with fabrication and distribution activities as needed.
• Collaborate with team members, trainers, and quality personnel to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Work Environment

This role is based in a clean manufacturing environment that includes both assembly/fabrication and warehouse distribution areas. The facility is non-climate controlled but uses large fans to maintain airflow and comfort. The position follows a first-shift schedule, typically 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with overtime and occasional weekend work possible depending on project needs, resulting in approximately 4045 hours per week. The dress code requires steel-toe footwear, jeans, a work shirt, safety glasses, and a high-visibility vest to support a safe and professional work setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stafford, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
