Qualifications

• High degree of attention to prevent injury and promote safety.
• Follow and adhere to all policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily inspections for forklifts, overhead cranes, and equipment before use in assembly.
• Perform specific duties on the assembly line as assigned.
• Perform rework on units as needed.
• Check the quality of completed units and ensure customer requests are met.
• Drive completed units to the staging area.
• May oversee the return of recycled crates and tires to KBT.

PHYSICAL EXPECTATIONS

• Regularly sitting and/or standing on powered equipment.
• Frequently lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, turn, pivot, walk and/or stand for 8+ hours.
• A good sense of balance and coordination.
• Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights.
• Ability to work at heights up to 30 feet.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures depending upon the season both indoors and out.
• Ability to wear various PPE including fall protection harnesses, seat belt restraints and gloves.
