Job summary

Kubota is seeking an assembly technician to safely and efficiently complete final assembly of tractors, verify inspections, and ensure customer specifications are met.

You will operate forklifts, cranes, and material handling equipment, perform rework when needed, and contribute to a safe, productive work environment. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to read English instructions, with willingness to work multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Willingness to work any shifts (days, nights and/or weekends).
• Certified to operate stand up/sit down forklifts, stock chaser and/or cherry pickers per OSHA standards.
• Knowledge, skill and ability to safely manage loads of heavy equipment, tires and pallets.
• Ability to use computer systems and/or RF scanner to input and retrieve information.
• Basic math and computer skills required.
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others and promote a safe work environment.
• Follow and adhere to all policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Willingness to work any shifts (days, nights and/or weekends).

• Certified to operate various equipment including but not limited to; stand up/sit down forklifts, stock chaser and/or cherry pickers as required according to OSHA standards.

• Knowledge, skill and ability to safely manage loads of heavy equipment, tires and/or pallets of parts.

• Ability to use computer systems and/or RF scanner to input and retrieve information.

• Basic math and computer skills required.

• High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others and promote a safe work environment.

• Follow and adhere to all policies and procedures.

Skills/Experience

• Experience with hand tools, including air driven tools.

• Ability to operate (or learn how to operate) overhead cranes.

• Experience with driving fork lifts and scissor lifts.

• Ability to follow directions, both written and verbal in English.

PHYSICAL EXPECTATIONS

• Regularly sitting and/or standing on powered equipment.

• Frequently lifting up to 50 pounds.

• Ability to bend, stoop, turn, pivot, walk and/or stand for 8+ hours.

• A good sense of balance and coordination.

• Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights.

• Ability to work at heights up to 30 feet.

• Ability to work in varying temperatures depending upon the season both indoors and out.

• Ability to wear various PPE including fall protection harnesses, seat belt restraints and gloves.
