Kubota Tractor Corporation in Grapevine, TX is seeking a Service Engineer (Telematics & Electrical System Specialist) to analyze machine connectivity and advise MCC on system health and performance. You will provide technical support to Kubota dealers and internal teams, guide MCC colleagues, and contribute to projects like PredictiveFailure and AI-based service agents using CAN bus data and telemetry.

A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least 3 years of technical support and CAN bus

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years providing technical support experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with machine CAN bus networks and protocols (J1939, KWP2000, UDS).
• Strong written communications skills to explain technical concepts and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Kubota dealers and internal teams via phone, online systems, and on-site visits.
• Offer technical and operational guidance to MCC team members.
• Contribute to key MCC projects such as PredictiveFailure, Machine Health, Telemetics Interfaces and AI-based service agents.
• Work with CAN bus systems to aid root cause analysis and failure prediction.
• Develop action plans to resolve specific failure modes using telemetry data.

The Telematics & Electrical System Specialist willanalyze,report,andtake actionontheinterfacing between machine and technologyto improve productconnectivityandmaintaincustomer satisfaction.Additionally, the role willprovidetechnical,productand systems guidance to other members of theKubotaMachineCare Center (MCC)based on extensive knowledge and experience.

What You'll Do

This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws / regulations and the Company's policies, procedures, and guidelines:

• Provide technical support to Kubota dealers and other Kubota departments and entities via phone, on-line systems and messages, and on-site visits. Attempt to resolve concerns during the first contact. Report on recommendations and actions.
• Provide technical and operational guidance to other members of theMCC.
• Independentlyand as a group contributetokey projects and/or key functions of theMCC, such asthePredictiveFailure,Machine Health,TelematicsInterfacesandAI based service agents.
• Work with machine CANbussystems to aid indeterminingroot cause analysis and failure prediction.
• Develop plans of action to resolve specific failure modesutilizingtelemetry data.
• Informdealerand company personnel about service concerns and/or solutions via Service Bulletins, Top Issues, telephone conversations, Call Records, and other forms of communication.
• Provide training to dealers, co-workers, and other company staff on products, Kubota systems, and servicing methods.
• Support Kubota’s Sales Organization at both internal and external Company events, addressing product complaints and field product questions.
• Through self-training, continually increase product knowledge using Technical Service Reports, Service/Sales Bulletins, Call Records, Engineering Releases, and other available resources. Activelyparticipatein available technical training.
• Monitor and research product developments in the market and report asappropriate.
• Conduct other activities related to this position as assigned by management
• Other duties as assigned by management

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineeringor related fieldexperiencerequired.
• At least 3 yearsof providingtechnical support experiencerequired.
• At least 3 years of experience within the areas of machine CAN bus networks and protocols(J1939, KWP2000, UDS, etc.).
• Strong written communications skills to explain technical concepts, report on technical investigations.
