This role focuses on performing light mechanical and electrical assembly and remanufacturing work on small dispensing units and major subassemblies. You will follow exact specifications and close tolerances while using fixtures, hand tools, and power tools to assemble, disassemble, repair, clean, sort, and inspect equipment. The position offers a four-day core workweek with occasional additional hours as needed.
Perform a variety of light mechanical and electrical assembly tasks on equipment to exact specifications and close tolerances.
Use fixtures, simple hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively to complete assembly operations.
Carry out assigned remanufacturing operations, including disassembly of small dispensing units and major subassemblies.
Perform minor repairs on mechanical and electrical components as part of the remanufacturing process.
Sort components and materials accurately, including distinguishing between various metals for proper sorting.
Clean and inspect small dispensing units and major subassemblies to ensure they meet quality standards.
Interpret and follow basic blueprints and work instructions to complete assembly and remanufacturing tasks.
Interpret color coding for basic wiring to ensure correct electrical connections.
Use basic computer skills to follow work instructions, record data, or complete related tasks as required.
Apply basic mechanical and plumbing experience, as needed, to support assembly and remanufacturing operations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic math ability to perform measurements, counts, and simple calculations.
Experience using hand tools and power tools in an assembly or similar environment.
Ability to perform light mechanical and electrical work using fixtures and tools.
Ability to stand for extended periods, up to approximately 10 hours, to complete production tasks.
Ability to successfully complete a drug screen and background check, in accordance with company policy.
Mechanical aptitude and strong manual dexterity for precise assembly and handling of small components.
Basic computer skills to navigate simple systems or instructions.
Basic mechanical or plumbing experience to support assembly and remanufacturing operations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Ability to interpret color coding for basic wiring and make correct electrical connections.
Ability to distinguish between various metals for accurate sorting and processing.

This role is based in a production and remanufacturing environment focused on small dispensing units and major subassemblies. Standard hours are Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with occasional work on Fridays for approximately 6 to 8 hours as needed to meet production demands. The position requires standing for long periods, up to about 10 hours, and frequent use of hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and cleaning equipment. You will work around mechanical and electrical components, follow safety protocols, and operate in a setting where attention to detail, cleanliness, and organization are important.
This is a Contract position based out of Roscoe, IL.
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
