Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in Kentucky is seeking a manufacturing associate to assemble sheet metal parts, build and wire electrical components, and follow safety, quality, and productivity specifications. You will work from written and verbal schedules, perform simple equipment setups, and maintain accurate production records.

This hands-on role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and a commitment to keeping the work area clean and orderly.

Position Description

Manufactures parts, sub-assemblies and assemblies per safety, quality and productivity specifications. Assembles sheet metal parts using hand and power tools. Builds and wires electrical components. Works from written and verbal schedules. Reports damage to supervisor. Operates one or more units of the following type of production equipment: press brakes, spot welders, or other similar or related devices. Makes simple setups and/or minor adjustments to the equipment required to produce a variety of products and to maintain processes per specifications. Perform assembly singly or in combination with other operations. Performs material handling operations as directed. Pulls from stock, assembles and packs to complete orders. Responsible for quality of own work. Maintains accurate production records. Responsible for keeping work area clean, safe and orderly. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
