Job summary

Zing Recruiting is seeking Assemblers for Riverdale, NJ. You will assemble components into finished goods using precise drawings, operate basic tools, and log production data in ERP systems.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math skills, attention to detail, and English fluency. Prior manufacturing assembly is a plus. Pay rate is $18–$19 per hour, with a Monday–Friday schedule and optional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic math skills (measuring, calculator use)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable using a computer tablet
• Preferred: 2+ years of manufacturing assembly experience
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, communication)

Responsibilities

• Assemble components into finished goods using engineering drawings and instructions
• Use basic tools and fixtures efficiently and accurately
• Maintain precise counts and log work in order control systems
• Ensure a clean and organized workspace
• Perform tasks such as testing, engraving, and packaging as needed
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Lift up to 15 lbs frequently, up to 25 lbs occasionally
• Regular use of hands, tools, and close visual focus
• Exposure to moderate noise and mechanical equipment

Pay Rate: $18–$19/hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday (Voluntary Saturdays)

Shifts: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

• Required: Experience assembling metal parts

2nd Shift (3:30 PM – 11:00 PM)

• Required: Experience assembling electrical parts
