Schlumberger is seeking an Assembler to join our production team in Mobile, AL. You will assemble components across product lines, test finished products, and troubleshoot issues to ensure quality and reliability.
You will read blueprints, identify parts, and apply correct tolerances using hand tools and fixtures. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment, with opportunities to learn new technologies and processes.
The Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Assemble components of all Product Lines. Select correct tools and fixtures.
Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.
Ensure ability to: read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.
Create labor records for all transactions.
Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (technical diploma a plus)
Experience in assembly or manufacturing environments preferred
Basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or electronic assembly processes
Commitment to quality, attention to detail, and safety compliance
Willingness to learn and embrace new technologies and sustainable practices
