Job summary

Job description

The Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues.

  • Assemble components of all Product Lines. Select correct tools and fixtures.
  • Test assembled products. Troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with the assembly and testing of products.
  • Ensure ability to: read blueprints; identify components; use pertinent hand tools and rework techniques; operate equipment, dimensioning and setting tolerances of mechanical parts and assemblies.
  • Create labor records for all transactions.
  • Use the guiding principles and tools of the Manufacturing System to drive continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 0-2 years experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Must be able to wear required PPE along with respirator, impact resistant gloves and apron.
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills
  • Ability to communicate with management and peers in a clear and professional manner.
  • Efficient in basic computer skills: accessing and sending emails, completing online certifications and tests, etc.
  • Proactively identify and resolve any issues or problems that could arise and/or the ability to direct said issue or problem to the appropriate team.
  • This role follows a full time schedule and requires regular in‑person work at our Florence, KY office. Candidates must live within commuting distance. Must have the legal right to work and reside in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Essential Functions
  • Lift at least 50 lbs from floor to knuckles level on an occasional basis.
  • Lift at least 50 lbs from floor to waist level on an occasional basis.
  • Lift at least 25 lbs from floor to shoulder level on an occasional basis, and
  • Carry at least 50 lbs for a minimum distance of 100 feet on an occasional basis.
