Job summary

RAFI-Group in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an assembler to perform a variety of assembly, setup, simple machine operations, and material handling to meet customer specifications. You will train on basic measuring skills, inspect parts using the Workmanship Criteria Manual, and ensure high-quality work by checking for accuracy and completeness.

You will also accurately complete records and support corrective actions as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Assembly experience preferred.
• Must be a US citizen or permanent resident.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of assembly, set-up, simple machine operations, material handling and inspection operations for the purpose of making products to meet customer specifications. (list specific methods and tools in this table for the job being taught)
• Trained on basic measuring skills
• Inspect parts using the Workmanship Criteria Manual
• Responsible for producing high-quality work by checking for accuracy and completeness.
• Accurately complete various records of work done.
• Make decisions about product quality using tools provided by supervisor and the quality department.
• Work on corrective actions as assigned.
• Meet required productivity and quality goals set for the assembly team.
• Other duties as assigned.
