Job summary

RAFI-Group is seeking an Assembly Technician in the United States to perform assembly, setup, basic machine operations, material handling and inspection to meet customer specifications. The role emphasizes accuracy and adherence to work instructions and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will be trained in basic measuring skills, able to inspect parts using the Workmanship Criteria Manual, and contribute to meeting productivity and quality goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with assembly processes preferred.
• Candidate must be a US citizen or legal permanent resident per RAFI North America security standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of assembly, set-up, simple machine operations, material handling and inspection to meet customer specifications.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of assembly, set-up, simple machine operations, material handling and inspection operations for the purpose of making products to meet customer specifications. (list specific methods and tools in this table for the job being taught)
• Trained on basic measuring skills
• Inspect parts using the Workmanship Criteria Manual
• Responsible for producing high-quality work by checking for accuracy and completeness.
• Accurately complete various records of work done.
• Make decisions about product quality using tools provided by supervisor and the quality department.
• Work on corrective actions as assigned.
• Meet required productivity and quality goals set for the assembly team.
• Other duties as assigned.
